Rolled on opening day at the Stronghold.
-the Marcelo butterfly pass requires you to be postured with your head and torso up and to the opposite side of where you're passing. still vulnerable to a kimura, but less vulnerable to a guillotine or getting your back taken perhaps.
-crossing the legs in the air is a good counter to butterfly guard sweeps
-"floating on the legs" guard passing
-kimuras and guillotines!
-de la riva guard- i keep forgetting to grab the foot. much more control.
-attacking the turtle- guillotine/arm triangle variations open a route to the back sometimes
-darce choke to brabo is good
-guillotine with high guard to triangle choke is good too
-high guard with double shin control is a good position. need to develop it more.
