A possible hole- vulnerability to guillotine chokes

Free training class

good

-felt strong with passes

-half guard defense was good

-was able to stick out some tough chokes!

-got grips off right away

-arm drags felt better

-the x-guard variant when they post the knee actually works! gotta work it into the repetoire- i've been getting stuck there sometimes.

to improve

-sweep attempts- need to try more

-guard pass defense could have been better

-didn't work on the 101 or double underhook pass as much as i wanted to

-vs. back mount- need to control bottom arm or they can slip it out and attack the choke on the other side.

-i'm leading with my head from butterfly guard. this possibly opens me up to guillotine chokes. maybe i need to bat the hands away quickly or sit back when they attempt to guillotine. gotta ask about this.

edit: solution- be aware of possibility of being choked. defend neck and keep opponent away.
